How to create a label

One PDF page for each carton

1. Add the shipper and consignee

Use complete company names, postal addresses and available phone or email details. Confirm spellings and postal codes against the buyer’s shipping instruction.

2. Add the shipment reference

Enter the origin, destination and an available order, AWB, bill-of-lading or tracking reference. A reference helps handlers connect the carton with the right shipment.

3. Describe each package

Add one row per carton. Record its contents or shipping mark, package number, total package count, net weight, gross weight and external dimensions.

4. Choose a size and download

Select 4×6 inch or A6, check the live preview and download the PDF. Print at actual size or 100% scale unless your printer or carrier gives different instructions.

Important distinction

A carton label is not a carrier postage label

01

What Nestaon creates

A practical shipper-to-consignee label with carton identification, weights, dimensions and handling text.

02

What it does not create

Nestaon does not book transport, buy postage or generate a carrier-approved barcode, AWB or tracking number.

03

What to verify

Check the required size, barcode placement, marks and dangerous-goods instructions with your carrier and destination rules.

Frequently asked questions

Shipping label questions

Can I make labels for several cartons?

Yes. Add another label row for every carton. The downloaded PDF contains one page per row and uses the package number shown in that row.

Should gross weight be higher than net weight?

Normally yes, because gross weight includes packaging. Nestaon prevents a shipping label from downloading when gross weight is lower than net weight.

Can I use these labels for courier booking?

Use them as supplementary carton/address labels only. Your courier or freight forwarder must provide any booking-specific barcode, tracking label or regulatory marks it requires.

Important: Carrier, commodity and destination requirements vary. Verify every label and any required regulated markings before attaching it to cargo.
